Parker Sr.’s Intellectual Properties including but not limited to the Ed Parker American Kenpo Karate system curriculum, copyrights and trademarks. Moreover, non I.K.K.A. members or any other unauthorized individuals and or companies are prohibited from any use of the Ed Parker Sr. Kenpo Karate system curriculum, teaching materials, titles, images and logos utilizing the Ed Parker Sr. name for any brand promotion or ranking elevations.

Q: What is the I.K.K.A. ?
A: The I.K.K.A. is the one and only original and authentic International Kenpo Karate Association founded by Senior Grandmaster Ed Parker Sr. the International Kenpo Karate Association originated in 1956 as the Kenpo Karate Association of America. It was registered with the State of California for the purposes of governing Kenpo in the continental U.S. The K.K.A.A. was changed to the I.K.K.A. in 1960 when association members began migrating to foreign countries.
The I.K.K.A. is a licensee of and an independent entity separate from KAM IV Inc., the I.K.K.A. has been granted authority and permissions to use Ed Parker Sr.’s Intellectual Properties by license agreement with KAM IV Inc. The I.K.K.A. is the only Kenpo/Kempo association in the world legally authorized to use Ed Parker Sr. Intellectual Properties
Q: What types of Memberships does the International Kenpo Karate Association offer?
A: At this time the I.K.K.A. offers three (3) types of memberships. Individual memberships and Club/School memberships.
Q: What are the International Kenpo Karate Association membership fees ?
A: Club Membership (1 to 12 Students) fees are $150.00 Per Year.
School Membership (13 or more Students) fees are $300.00 Per Year.
Individual Membership fees are $30.00 Per Year and are available to students of I.K.K.A. Club/School instructors in good standing. Individual Membership Applications are available for students from I.K.K.A. Club/School instructors in good standing.

Q: What is KAM IV Inc.?
A: KAM IV Inc. is a corporate entity separate from the I.K.K.A. It was brought to the attention of the Ed Parker Sr. family that certain groups and individuals have been using the Parker name, Ed Parker Sr. American Kenpo Karate system curriculum and other intellectual property without requesting approval or seeking the proper authorization. Therefore, KAM IV Inc has chosen to take the appropriate measures to ensure that the reputation, integrity and good will of the ED PARKER SR.™ IP be protected. Thus, the Ed Parker Sr. IP Worldwide Enforcement Program was established through Greenberg Traurig, LLP in order to safeguard the property of KAM IV Inc.
